This trophy acknowledges a woman that has made a significant contribution to getting women and girls out on the water sailing. Julie is a member of King Harbor Yacht Club and the founder and current executive director of Waterfront Education - an organization that teaches about marine science and conservation utilizing sailboats, kayaks, standup paddle boards, coastal beaches and local ocean waters. She is an ocean/water entrepreneur with her SunTru sun protection supplement company and is launching Splash Confidential this month - a community website for women that call the water home.
